I have a brand new 12" FI Q for sale (dual 2 ohm). I just bought it last week and installed it this weekend. Its way too much bass for my stock highs. I have no intention to upgrade the OEM door speakers, so I'm gonna have to go with a smaller sub (or maybe even sub at all). Price is $225 shipped. I will include a copy of my FI receipt for your records, and as proof of when I bought it.

I would just send it back to FI, but they have a 30% restocking fee + shipping. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

I also have a mint condition BJ Fisher 2.2 cu box @ 32hz for sale. Send me a PM if interested.

Thanks.

Dom

I ran a 12" 3hp and stock rear speakers for a month while i deadend my doors.. lol. (one of the stock rear speakers were blown)

Bump for a ncie box, and a good sub.

i have a fi q s2 also on sundown 1000D in a 2.5^3ft @ 30hz box that iamamp2pimp built for me and its a killer combo. lets say that the bass still overwhelms a front 3 way active speaker system that seeing 700 watts from my sundown 100.2 and 100.4 on my hd 642 cdts.

My rear deck is moving so much the deck light is hitting my rear window. and the lows from 28 - 29hz all the way up to like mid high 5-'s is amazing. it complements the frequencies between 60 - 80 hz nicely in aiding my midbass but it not as prounounced. but i prefer having an overlapping gap in that region. so my midbass set to 80hz and sub set to 63hz both with 24 db slope. blends nicely

i highly recommend the 12q ported low 32hz - 28hz in a box from 2.5 to 2.2^ft very flat in terms of qwide band of freq asnd hits lows nicely. lets say yung joc - patron pisses my neighbors off alottttt

=] bump for sick combo.

free up.

im in same market as you. too much bass for me. it an amazing sql system but im gonna have downgrade to something that is just as amazing in terms of sq and isnt as loud and io can sealed with.

prob do like 2 12 idq in sealed box

It is a sick sub. I decided to just upgrade my highs and keep it. It sounds awesome so far and I haven't had the time to really mess with the amp settings either. It just blows over my OEM highs.

u can blend it in better with a higher low pass and lower gain. turn off all bass boost. and phase lvl controls on amp. keep lowpass around 65 - 70 and put ssf filter at around 27 - 28 hz.

This sub is in perfect condition. I've been using it since October 2007. I had a Sundown SAE-1000D powering it. I'll take $175 shipped anywhere in the US. PayPal only. Thanks,
