which guage should i use for subs? i'd like to go 12 guage, but i have terminals on my subs where they screw out, then you place the wire in it, then screw it back and tighten again. not sure theie name. see, i got to wire in parallel or series so i may need to put 2 pieces of wire in the hole. will i have room to place 2 ends of 12 guage in the hole, or will it be tight? im not at home to check at the moment, and i was wanting to order some now online

Use Ohm's Law and figure out the actual voltage drop yourself to make the decision //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
would you helping me how i can do that? at the moment, i have (4) DVC 12" subs. each pair will be wired together to get a 4ohm total load on a mono amp. i got 2 mono amps. all the equipment will be near the rear in the hatchback, so the amps will be mounted fairly close

If each sub is 500 watts or less 14 gage will be fine. You could run separate wires from the amp to each sub if there's more room on the amp's terminals than the sub's.
