11th anniversary of murrah bombing..

i read a post on another forum by a former emt who was first on the site. his description of what happened that day and what he saw, was horrific and gruesome. reality hit me harder after trying to imagine people with amputated bodyparts, finding a child's arm...but no child...gruesome. his story was shocking and hard to envision. made me take another perspective on what happened that day.

my whole school shook and the teachers and students wondered what it was. the shockwave ripped all the way through nw oklahoma city (where i live).

i got home and saw the news but still didn't kno what happened. my dad told me but i didn't realize the reality of it and the big picture until a few days later. i realized just how big it was....

i was watching the memorial ceremony on tv and it was hard for the people saying the names of the victims. some were crying cuz it was their fathers or sisters daughters mothers brothers.

esp the daycare that was there on that horrific day...
