[QUOTE="cotjones, post: 3429190, member: 573988"] ok so that you can stop accusing me with quotes you pull out of your ***... here are my first couple of posts.... HMMM i clearly said with my first statement that you CAN get just as much performance from 8's as 10's clearly i was saying that (((((in this guy's circumstance)))) he would have a harder time getting bass from 8's than 10's in other words if you can get the same performance from 6 8's as 1 15 and the 8's cost more and use more power... and you don't have a space restriction (even tho the 8's would prolly take more room... why in god's name would you go with the 8's??? whats wrong with that? i said if there is a choice... obviously if you have space restirctions or somthing then it's not a choice speaks for itself my point in this was only to say making 8's requires more box building effort and it's likely that you will sacrafice some SQ unless you are a super box designer (like audioholic) again i clearly say.... cost not being a factor if you can do a bigger size sub then you have more potential and more flexibility who on this forum would take an 8w7 over a 13w7 if you could accomodate the 13 in your car and they were offered free??? again obviously i ment subs in the same series not comparing w1's to w7's but i did not say the 10s are allways better speaks for itself no takers? does that mean 10's are better than 8's?
