10's hit harder than 12's

Has anyone who ever went from 12's ported to 10's ported notice how the 10's hit harder? I went from 2 RF T1's ported to 3 10's sealed to 2 10 BMF's and those 2 10's ported are a m**therf((ker. Those 2 10's rattle the car and mirrors more than the 2 RF T1's.

I think what he meant was that you can be just as loud with less cone area.. its doesn't "matter" I guess... but more cone area with all other factors equal does = louder.

he probably just has the 10's tuned higher hence the 'hitting harder' ish... idk about you but my hcca 10 gets lower and hits harder than 12's 15's and 18's ive used.

I don't know how you can defend this statement. It is incredibly vague, and ignorant.

12"s just dont do well ported. 10"s are better suited to be ported because they are smaller and make smaller waves that can get through the ports.
