1000 watts on a 105 amp alternator

well thats 100a draw so u have 5a to run stock stuff. which normally takes 40a to run. (ur alt should be okay) I'm running around 1200w on an 80a alt and its handling but I'm getting my alt respun. DO THE BIG 3!!! that will help a lot. my friend has a 05 mustang and is running a saz 1500d on all stock cept for an extra batt. all zero gauge also. his handles just fine.

I have a 105a/80idle alternator in my 03 impala... on idle with the Memphis pr1000.1 dmm set.. No Big 3 done yet.. wally world batt... 1/0 from bat to amp 1/0 ground

at low notes hit me from 14.4 to 13.5-.1 really low notes i drop to 12.9-.7 an I get dimming but the voltage from 14.4 to 13.5-.1 or 12.9-.7 is at the amp.. on the batter It won't drop past 13.1 I would say check all grounds, do the big 3.. if you don't have a good gauged wire run a good gauged wire... grab another battery... maybe put a big agm up front and a smaller one in the back

is it normal for my voltage to drop more on higher notes than it does on lower notes? i had to set the low pass filter pretty low because on the higher notes it would dim the lights way worse
