$1000 to get most out of a VW Bus

i found a 77 VW bus to pick up because of insurance reasons. i already have an eclipse to stick in it. but as far as the charging system, i am not sure on what fits those things. i was looking to do something as big as i can for like 1000 bucks minus the head unit. possibly a wall. i dont mind used one bit. what do you guys think?

i have two p1's 12" and a rockford 325.1. also a pair of alpine coaxial type s for sale. only 400.

i think that 2 p1's could rock ur bus but still the rockford p1's are still just entry level. they do get loud sealed though.

but if i were you i'd only spend around $700 on a full system. use the rest for some hardcore sound damp. my neighbor has that same bus and we put a system in it. annoying to listen too....

also you could do some type r 6x9's with an amp and the door speakers. that would sound good. nothing hardcore.

if its the old style vw 'bay window' type, there is a ton of room in the bottom of the doors, easy to get a 10 or 12 in each door. deaden the doors well, new mdf pannels and a 10 or 12 in each door will be very hard to beat iyam.
