10" Vs. 12"

I have 2 pioneer 10" subs and a friend of mine have 2 12" some model, hi told me that he wants to change then for my 10" cause he needs more space in his car.

But i need to build a new box for the 12", does the change from 10" to 12" worth the money for the box??

it dosen't seem like it would make a difference cause it's only a few inches more, but as any guy on here knows...ya gotta hear for yourself.

Thats kind of like saying a 15 wont sound different than a 12 cause it's only a few inches bigger. The 12's will move more air so in theory with the proper box and amp they should get louder than the 10's, in theory.

Trade up and build your own box. Should cost you about 30 bucks.

Man that sound like a good advice, the 12" move more air than the 10" and since they are the same brand and model, just size upgrade, the 12" should sound louder in proper box.

well, what kind of 12's are they? i'd definitely take some good 10's over some shitty 12's.
