I have found that if you go to farm supply - Irrigation supply stores most will cut what you need where a lot of plumbing and hardware store want you to buy a whole length of pipe. I stopped at a place off the freeway and a guy cut me off 3 ft of 6" for $15.00 but I am in central Calif and farming is big here, dont know about where you are located ? Or E bay but I only saw 1' sections and kind of pricey.
