10" Fi SSD or 10" Type R

Which would work best in my situation. The box is about .90 cubic feet sealed. The amp will be a Sundown 1500d at 1 ohm.

The SSDs are 800 rms so each sub would be underpowered by 50 watts( shouldnt be a big deal). Price tag is 358 shipped.

The Type Rs are 500 watts rms so each sub would be overpower by 250 watts. However from reading the Type Rs can handle more if your carefull. Price tag is 225 shipped.

I hate to say "which would be louder" but which one would perform well in the sealed box vs the other.

Am not really on a budget(well no more than the price of the ssds) but the extra saving on the Type Rs would be nice. If the SSDs would perform better than the Rs then I would get them. If it is about even then I would opt to save the cash and get the Rs.

BTW: I did do a search and didnt yeild the results I was wanting. I even checked the ROE "this VS that" thread and didnt get and specfic results.

Thanks

I know this isnt ca.com most favorite type of thread I just have never heard either of these subs in person ya know.

i just was wondering which would perform better in the sealed box with 750 watts rms.

First, maybe I missed something, those prices are a little high for those subs, aren't they? I mean the FI sub is about $240 + shipping. And the type R is even cheaper on Crutchfield! You can probably get the type R for under $100. I hope I didn't miss anything, but....where did you come up with these prices?

To answer your question, the SSD without a doubt.

Sorry, you didn't say you wanted 2 subs, I see now after dissecting what you said, I guess I see that you want 2, lol. What threw me off was the box size. Sorry about that.

But again, SSD all the way.

am sorry your right i didnt say how many. yes there is going to be two subs. each subs is going to see about .8 cubic ft after displacement.

so it looks to be the ssds.

I hated my 10'' type r's sealed....so I would definitely go with the ssd's out of those two.
thanks good to know.

i guess ill be honest i was only thinking about the Rs b/c of the price and the extra cash i could buy my wiring n stuff. however i dont want to lose quality
