Can I use 10 Cubes rather than the manufacture recommendation :5-6cubes?

My current 3:1 Bandpass 4th order is too song selective within its Bandpass.

I’m trying to convert the shell to Bass reflex 33HZ. But it’s 10Cubes without any displacement.

Can I use 10 cubes or should I make it shallow to 6?

Actually, at 10 gross, after port displacement, some bracing, and sub displacement, I'd bet you're around 7-8 net already. Which depending on your sub model, may be a little on the large side, just watch on the low notes, make sure it doesn't bottom out, before you really pour the sauce to it.

I’m finding new songs that weren’t hitting on my DD712. Bass reflex 4order. The bandpass is selective to 70+ songs and plays them better than other designs I’ve tried.

Might just run the Bandpass for what it’s worth.
