I bought 2 MX 12"s and need to power them at 2 ohm, i already have one xd1800 (1500 at 1 ohm) should i get another one and have each of them see a 1 ohm load or get a zx2500.1?

Which would power them better, and which one would be more efficiant?

In all honesty I would get like to amps that do an actual 2k@1ohm so you can have some overhand and not need to turn the gains up to get where you want, because that just causes clipping, I would say somthing like a single VFL200.1 or a 400.1

The amp wont see 0.5 AFTER BOX RISE unless you have 0 box rise which is impossible!! In my box for a single 12 wired at 1ohm it rises t0 1.4 in 10 minutes 2.5 in 15 minutes...basically the heat in the box the coils get hot etc.....anyway the amp WIRED BEFORE BOX RISE ISNT GOING TO STRAIN YOUR ELECTRICAL, easy way to test is use a multimeter and see what the amp is seeing as a final ohm load while playing it...other ways to tell, but thats the easiest.

Last time a 200.1 before box rise will never see 0.5 ohm load!!
