1 shiva vs 2 alpines/eclipses

Which would sound better overall? A shiva on a 1200.1, or a pair of Type R's / eclipses on a 600.1?

I want really good sound quality that can still rumble and hit good.

Also what about 2 subs, the same or different but on the same amp, but one set up for SQ with a sealed box and the other ported or bandpass?

Id say get the 2 Type R's and Port them, or Better yet get 2 Shiva's and a 1200.1 running them and that will be Wicked, Good Sound Quality and SPL too.

wouldn't ported type R's just be total SPL and not SQ? Im a big SQ guy, SQ SQ SQ! But i want to be able to "feel" the base for those days when i need to crank so good ol ludacris - but it wasnt us or something like that

Your one and only answer is the Eclipse aluminums, great SQ and with enough power plenty of SPL, no doubt about it Eclipse Alum
