1 good 12, or 2 nasty 10's

alright.im going to upgrade the bass in my car. if someone out there has a 12" that can handle around 1k, lemme know. if i can find a good deal, i'll get an appropriate amp(have one in mind). or, if not the one 12, two 10's that together can handle around 1400 daily. same situation about the amp on them. im looking at the AP 1000, and 1500D. lemme know what ya got!

2 10s would have more cone area. But its all about the box. I just changed my system from 2 12s to 1 12 and I'm just as loud, if not louder.

well i was only sayin 1 12 as an option cuz im already usin a 12 now. got a slot ported box at about 34-35. 2 cubes after displacement. and like 32 in of port area. but yea im lookin at around 250 but let me know wat u got

Grab a DC Level 4 or Fi BL and call it good.

Tuning works for both. You have plenty of port area. Plenty of space and efficiency.

i loveeeee fi and dc. actually looked at a lvl 4. but, they are hard to find and i cant afford a new one. same boat for fi. a new 12" Q shipped to me is about 300. so lookking for anythingg. keep em commin. guys who pm'ed me, replied.
