No, you dont tune dd's or aq's that low. Theyre designed to be tuned higher. So more like 38 hz to cmopletely rip the lows.

mines at 33hz and does good on the lows, maybe ill try 40 like they say to

If you talk to the guys at DD they'll tell you to keep the box around 36-38hz to get the best SQ and SPL. And 3-4.5cuft for the 15 and 1.7-2.5cuft for the 12.

agreed. my box to DD spec w/aero's and 2 9515's was|is LOUD and sounds great!

I'd agree that with 1 2500d, cone area on the 3512's FTW.

i thought of that, but i wanna get my HU first.

I would put another amp on those Mags and listen to them wang.I have 1200 0n each sub and my back window flex like crazy and they sound good doing it,best sounding subs I have ever heard ever , and that is in a sealed box.

i don't see a 50 coming out of it at 35hz. That's just my .02 though.

It'll sound loud for sure down that low though.

well...its for daily music use...i listen to rap...

so i was told that its better to tune lower for rap music daily.....cuz most rap has low tones.....

but will i be in 140's for sure ?

(i know the box is gunna be good...getting it from TCAB or IonSQL...havnt chosen yet...)

my choice. you'd prolly GET the box.

go read DD's site. pretty much everyone builds a box within those specs tuned to 40hz. Mine was tuned HIGHER and still hit HARD.
