To find cone area you also subtract 1in because of surround/ basket maybe even 2....

Well if you want to find the true cone area you're going to need to use integral calculus

The surround moves too. Most people seem to rely on counting 60% of surround as radiating surface area. but even easier than that, most manufacturers seem to list the Sd of their drivers.

get eh 9515 , you can throw it in a 5-5.5 gross box and be fine..... and id think it would get louder also.... oh and nice car i just inspected one this morning ......
