1.8 cubes tuned to 35hz good for a 10" cvx?

I'm designing a box to fit in a friend's trunk, and I want it to sound good the first time. Will 1.8 cubes (after port and driver displacement) tuned to 35 Hz sound good with a 10" CVX?

I would go with 1.25 cubic feet tuned to 35hz if it was up to me. The 1.8 design won't be bad but it might be a little boomy a slightly muddy.
