For my next setup, I think I am going to go with a nice single 18'', or possibly a couple 15s OR BEEFY 12s. I have an '04 dodge ram 1500 single cab... Previously I took out the middle seat and put my box in between the driver/passenger seat.

Will I have enough room for an 18'' or some 15''s?

an 18 or 2x 15s in a single cab? Imma have to see some pics of your cab..otherwise i say no way in hell. A 18 needs atleast 6+ cubes ported..dont even think about sealing em. and 2x 15s would prob need 7+ atleast. I cant see any single cab fitting that without a blow-thru or removing the passenger seat. I guess if you made your box right..and took up EVERY possible inch you could, maybe you could fit an 18 but im still a non believer. If you can try throwing 1x 15 in there in a 4 cube ported box..get a beefy ass one like a dc lvl 4 or something feed it 2k+ ..it will get a little loud //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Ok I was thinking at a btl or a high end sub. Now that I think of it, I will probally go with a single beefy 15''. Possibly 2 beefy 12''s. I plan on having the box go in between the seats again. My old setups box was like 20 inchs wide maybe, and height doesn't matter too much, and the length shouldn't be a problem.

If space is an Issue I would look into Sundown Nighshades. They get crazy loud in small enclosures. I know for a fact you can stick a nightsade 18 in 4 cubes and it will perform like a champ.

Well ill see how many cubes my old box was then I cam knw what I've gpt to work with

My old box was 33'' length x 15'' width x 19'' height. I dont have much, if any more width to work with, so will I be able to stick a beefy 15'' in my truck? possibly 2 beefy 12''s?

That is about 5 cubic ft. right?

Well I can fit a bigger box in there. I just didnt want to get too far ahead of myself before I even knew if I could make this work. Not sure on what sub I'll be going with, but I want to feed it a **** load of power for daily use.

With those dimensions I would do a single 15, and 1 6" aero that is 12-18" long. With a 18" long port that will give you 3.5ft^3 tuned to 31hz, and with a 12" port you will have 3.7ft^3 tuned to 35hz.
