I didn't crimp mine, I made it snug, then applied flux and heated it up with a torch and soldered it in place.

Home Depot has heatshrink that works great for 1/0.

x2, that's the one - Lenco Swedge-On Tool Model 840l, works much better than the other one - I've tried them both.

I used a table vice today, to crimp my connectors on my 4gauge amp kit....works great.

i use a hammer first then when it gets flat i use a flat head screw driverand hammer it to have a tight pinch.

REgular hammer on concrete floor FTW....I can hang from it and it won't come loose.
