Sold '05 RE SeXXX D2...never powered!!! TeamPSI built!

I'm putting this sub up f/s because I think I'm gonna run some beefy tens instead. It was reconed by David (TeamPSI) earlier this year.

Here's the story:

I bought (2) brand new, never powered '05 RE SE D4's. They were both in EXCELLENT condition w/ a few scratches on the mags (from being stored, I'm guessing). At the time, I was planning on running the pair in my Maxima. I traded my Maxima before they got installed, and I wasn't willing to give up the space for the pair in my Acura. SO...I sent one back to David to be turned into a TRUE SeXXX (not the crap ones that RE makes now)...so these have the '05 version XXX softparts. IIRC...David said the RMS was 1200w, and its a D2. ON TO THE PICS...

This sub isn't even dusty...its been in the shipping box since I got it. It actually never made it out of the living room...it got stuck beside the couch where it was out of sight.

Now for the price...I'm not 100% sure what to ask for this, but I do know what I have spent. BTW...David only has (1) BNIB '05 SE. I was gonna get this rebuilt (along w/ the other he has) into 10's.

Yea...David does AWESOME work. If I can't get what I want for this, I may just keep it. I haven't even run power wire in my new car, so it will be awhile before anything gets installed.

well slightly different subs then i think... u have a different spider and surround i think

same coil, basket, cone and motor tho

xxx's go for ~300-350 fyi if that helps

Yea mine has a different cone as well...it the blank cone and surround (same style as the '05 XXX). I also think that his subs have the post buyout SE motors (chinese made). These are the pre-buyout SE motors from '05 or earlier. He also states that the sub is 750w RMS, and I was told by David that this would handle 1000-1200w...which is identical to the TRUE SeXXXs. I'm not saying his subs are crap, but I'm pretty sure he is using the newer SE motors.

If I am wrong...someone please correct me

after futher review it looks like ur coil can handle more power, hence the different spider... u sir, have a rare sub if it retained the same parameters as the old seXXXs with the TeamPSI recone... id keep it... if it wasnt so expensive id grab it and see if david can make it an 18"
