looking to sell it if i don't i will use it in home audio setup lol. anyway it's dual 4ohm voice coil, has a larger spider and more of a 02' L7 motor structure. for pics go to seach and look for "got my prototype L7" i know the thread might list it as an 03 that's how it was meant to be be but didn't work out that way.

everyone on here talks SOO bad about these l7s.. i barely moved mine, and the guy who has it now is having a hell of a time moving it too, and he does this WAY more often than i... it sucks too cuz they are in the top 5 of spl woofers made.

i don't know how u guys have your stuff hooked up, but my boy got a 12L7 ina 3 cube ported box with a audiobahn hcq275 on it and he gets full excursion. some songs even bottom it out. and its not the box because it was the spl box built by kicker. They don't handle 1200 peak either cuz that was my first sub and i had my pg600.2ti(rated at 630rms by phoenix gold.) and it blew one of the voice coils. KICKER IS NOT AS GOOD AS THEY SAY THEY ARE. don't get me wrong, they beat extremely hard but they can't handle the power they claim.

Hey Adam i live in Round Rock and i was interested in the sub . how old is the sub and do you have a warranty on thje sub?

the sub was manufactured in August of 01' but has only been out of the box for about 4 months if that and only seen amp/ hook-up time for about 45min to break it in. then i emailed kicker reps and asked about if it could handle 1750rms and they said not a chance so i'm sellin it. like i said though need the cash 160 would take 150cash on the spot if you got it lightsout.
