Message: <blockquote data-quote="helotaxi" data-source="post: 440121" data-attributes="member: 550915"><p>The old PG amps were "stable" into a dead short.  You could just about weld with them.  Not too sure about the R series Orions.  It would try to put out a sick amount of power and would probably do so for a few moments until either the amp thermaled and shut itself off, or the power supply blew.  I would have my money on the latter.</p></blockquote><p></p>
