0 awg?

I will check that out. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I last did my 4awg with a rubber mallet and a flat head screw driver... it works "OK" but I'm hoping to find something better besides $100+ for a tool I will only use 3-4 times.

I hammer all my terminals bigger than whatever my crimpers can crimp... which is normally 8 and bigger.

You can get a hobby anvil from like Harborfreight, just a nice little 1lb one, and just use that and hammer away with a chisel or any flat head screwdriver, it doesn't have to be a chisel. Just the wider, the better.

Just use a vise to tighten the terminal to the wire or crimp it... then take a torch/flux/solder and solder it. Its absolutely necessary to use a torch for this type of soldering.
