0 AWG vs 4 AWG

Personally id go with 1/0 guage wire, made that mistake like 6 years ago when i was running 2 small amps. With 1/0 you can upgrade those amps with bigger ones in the future and dont have to worry or spend cash upgrading the wires. 1/0 guage gives you more options.

Anyway, I will probably be running two amps, one JL 300/2 and possibly another. I'll be running 4 awg in the engine bay and then just right inside the car on the other side of the firewall it will hit a Distro block.

I know your advice is good, I just don't want to use 0 AWG if it isn't going to matter or be necessary for my amplifiers. Seems like the 0AWG is pretty hyped online. Either way though, since I'm not running power wire all the way into the trunk to a Distro block I would be able to replace the wiring up front with 0 AWG fairly easily if need be.

My mind has flipped back and forth on this and if I hadn't already ordered some 4AWG parts I probably would switch back to 0 again. LOL
