Sold ººººº--§§§§§§§--The Freebies thread--§§§§§§§--ººººº

Ok, I know there are a lot of car audio junkies out there who just can't afford stuff because of school expenses or because mom and dads budget is too tight. Many of us have all kinds of goodies sitting around. This is where you can get them for free. In order for this thread to work we're going to need a little generosity.

Rules:

If you request something or receive an item from someone please give back to the thread.

Don't be greedy.

Post the name of the person that gets your item.

New members should offer something before making a request.

Try to offer items that people have use for.

It's free so receiver pays shipping.

When paying through Paypal please add 2.9% + $0.30 in paypal fees. These would otherwise be sellers fees but since there is no 'seller' the buyer should pay this fee.

Be generous.

Only freebies, no selling or trading.

No spamming/advertising

Take advantage of refs. --(just a suggestion)

Have fun! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

If anyone can look for a CHEAP 2 channel amp (or monoblock, if you can actually find one for really cheap), I'd appreciate it. My AudioGods XO-500 finally decided it was time to *partially* die. I'm pretty certain that the FETs are going bad, as it works fine from time to time, but for the most part, there is no output, per se. You can feel the sub moving, just so little that there is no usable output.
ANYWAYS, now that I've explained my situation, if you find a very cheap amp, I'd appreciate any details and price shipped to 43701. I've found only one cheap amp that met my needs (at minimum 150 watts @ 4 ohm mono, which is what my AG was making) and it's 15 bucks. If any of you guys find something like that, even if it's 5 or 10 bucks more, let me know. Brand, power, etc, but the only thing I care is it HAS TO BE 100% functioning. Shape, I could care less, even if it looks like it was used by a rabid badger to wipe it's azz with, then tossed out of a moving truck. I DON'T CARE MUCH ABOUT LOOKS. All I care is it works, and works flawlessly.

Anyways, bump for a thread that needs to stay around. Spread the wealth people!

Wow, I didn't know it was a crime to ask people to look for a cheap/free (other than shipping) amp to replace the one of mine that is dead...... I thought that was the purpose of this thread anyways was to hook people up who don't have a lot of cash on them.....

And for my two pennies, since you think I'm trying to ruin the thread, I'll tell everyone what I have if you pay actual shipping.

First, basket and motor from a Kicker CompVR 15". Motor and basket have been seperated, and one of the bolts that held the two together snapped on the inside of the motor. Other three are fine. Heavy, so expect shipping to cost a bit...

Second, another Kicker CompVR 15. This one has everything still attached, but there are 2 problems. First, the tinsel leads snapped. Coils are still good, and if you are interested in this one, I will provide pics with the DMM showing the reading (dual 2 ohm, btw). Second, the dustcap is cracked, but can be easily fixed with some silicone or something along those lines. Same as above, but it's a workable sub.

Third, an Alpine 3552. Doesn't turn on, missing set screws, overall shitty shape, but a **** good amp from a few years back. Rated at 35x4 4 ohm, 65x4 2 ohm, 85x2 4 ohm bridged. It's been opened by me, and nothing is charred, caps look alright, etc. It's probably an easy fix. Like I said, looks bad, but it's old Alpine power.

Fourth, a Pioneer Premier DEH-P300 h/u. I'm taking a loss on this one, sort of, but oh well. I got this h/u in a local trade, and it didn't have the wire harness. Bought one from Pioneer, wired everything up, did not power on. Has a button on the face that needs replaced (-volume, I believe) but other than that, not horrible shape for it's age.

Anyone who is interested in any of these things, PM me, and we'll work out details.

Morgan

And btw jellyfish, you've got a PM //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
