Many of us have all kinds of goodies sitting around. This is where you can get them for free. In order for this thread to work we're going to need a little generosity.

bitlord you can get some real cheap gloves at most flea markets. I picked some 16oz gloves up for $5 and they lasted 3.5 fights so it was worth it to me.

I only remember this story because I thought it was funny so here goes:

Well in High School we "Fight Night" which basically a bunch of friends of mine that would come over and box in my back yard. Originally I bought the gloves from the flea market just to use on the punching bag, but one fight night someone didn't bring the normal gloves so we had to use the cheap ones. They were ok for the first three fights and when the fourth fight came around, it was a heavy weight fight between the biggest football players in school and a 6'2" receivers (he was a very big receiver) The was a slight weight advantage so we decided to let the receiver use a set of 12oz gloves vs the 16oz flea market gloves were given to the big guy. We usually didn't do rounds, but about 4 mins into the fight the big guy threw a huge sloppy haymaker that connected with the side of the receiver's face, at the point of impact the seam that held the stuffing in the glove busted sending stuffing flying... It was really funny to watch a guy get clobbered and just see all kinds of stuffing fly out.
