old stereo

So I bought this sweet 99 VW Golf Wolfsburg edition (the mk3 version) a month ago and now I want to install an old stereo I had in my 92 Jetta. The thing is, the connectors aren't the same... So I tried to hook it up and see what happens; turned out pretty good. The stereo worked right away...
