nightshade v.3 sundown

Trying to come up with a port design thats not gunna ruin my brand new sundown audio nightshade 12 v.3 i have a box for my x10 33wX22dX18t 1"mdf 3inch slot port by 17 deep and my buddy is trying to tell me its to small for my night shade and im gunna cook it any help?
