jl audio 12w3

The guy that installed it told me to leave the EQ on the headunit at flat. but quite frankly it sounds like factory. I didnt pay $700 for factory and...

i have 2 jl audio 12" w3's running off of a kenwood 1800 watt amp, bridged inside of the box. i dont know if it is the amp or subs but when the subs hit its not deep as it should be they are moving but no air is coming out of the port... what could be causing this?

long story short. i want SQL. I have a hifonics brz1200.1d amp. I have been looking into either 3 JL w3 12s sealed, 2 12" Re *** ported, 2 12" Alpine Type R ported, and (really dont want to pay it but might have to) 2 JL w6 12s ported. I like to be loud and LOW AF!!! i like alot of flex. So...

I have a Rockford Fosgate PRIME R500-1 amp laying around and wanting to get 2 JL 12w3's, i was wondering if the amp would work well with these subs or if i should try and find a different amp? If a different amp what would be some suggestions?
