db drive 2000

I am running 2 db drive 2ks strapped at 3 ohms, if I drive for anything more than 30 minutes I can start to smell the amps and they are very hot to the touch. But this all happens when my volume is completely off the whole time. Anyone have any ideas why this is? I am running my rcas to an...
