aftermarket hu troubles

I have a 94 S10 that I’m trying to install an aftermarket HU in. Whoever had the truck before me cut the factory connectors off. So I’m trying to hard wire the HU into the trucks factory wires without a harness. Coming from the truck I have a dimmer wire and illumination wire that’s not hooked...
