    Thanks for pointing that out. Yes, you are right, the Eclipse SW8200 does resemble what I am selling. It may be the better deal for people who don't mind that they are mass produced in China, rather than hand made here in the USA under the watchful eye of the designer.

    They are priced at about 45% below anything else that even resembles them (e.g., Audiopulse AXIS, which does not have the LMT motor), and well below their cost.

    Okay, well, a raised skirt is the best I can do. I went back and took some closeups with the cone extended about as far as it goes to see if I could increase the sexiness without disassembly. The best one is now posted.

    Ummm, please re-read -- a key point is that these motors are not plain TC-9 -- they are LMT plus a few other tricks.

    Hey, it's an ad. Okay, well, designing a motor that maintains linear force through a 2" excursion is at least a pretty great trick. It has been a while since Thilo started doing that, and it's now well known, so I didn't think legendary was too strong for an ad. Definitely beats LOL.

    That was quick. Yeah, had them on eBay (twice!), but the bids never got anywhere near the reserve. Someone took pity on me today and told me about carAudio.com, where people have actually heard of TC Sounds.
