In terms of budget subs, which is better...

How would an APSM-1500 do powering those?

My electrical is completely stable now! I fixed the ground that the stupid shop did and now my battery/alt is making 14v idle and my amp is getting 13.9v, only dropping to 13.7 on 80% of my HU volume. (Which is what I set my gain with, so full tilt). I don't have any more dimming or anything...

Err. Sorry I should have clarified. My point is I have the Kenwoods now and am happy with them as I just am a commuter and wanted a little bump in the trunk. I have a $50 store credit at Sonic, so I could spend another $50 and have a pair of those Earthquakes and just replace my Kenwoods with...

Two Kenwood kfc-w112s 12" -or- Two Earthquake Sound TNT-12s 12"? I have the Kenwoods now, but the Earthquake Sound ones are on sale at SonicElectronix here. Would the Earthquake Sound ones be any better? The magnet on each is 120oz vs the kenwoods 29oz. I have an Audiopipe APSM-1500 powering.

Hooking some misc. car audio up to a home computer/outlet?

@goingdef, The problem is I have one measily 10" woofer that I want to make use of in my room, not a bunch of woofers.

Your not fooling me. You can't put 120v AC directly into a driver that has to go through an amp and a 12v DC current into the amp. Lol.

Hooking some misc. car audio up to a home computer/outlet?

I'm scared to try and convert a computer PSU, because I don't want to start a fire or something. But if that was the path I was taking, would this be plenty?Newegg.com - Diablotek PHD Series PHD450 450W ATX12V V2.2 Power Supply Or would even something like this work...

Are you serious? That sounds extremely unsafe, lol.

Hooking some misc. car audio up to a home computer/outlet?

Basically title^. I've got a spare 10" sub with a sealed box for it as well as an amp that can push it laying around, and it'd be cool to set it up in my room hooked up to my PC or something. What's the cheapest and most effective way to do this? I was thinking something along the lines of...

    Audiopipe APSM-1500 help, seems quiet?

@av83 Haha sorry guys I'll relax and enjoy it. I know it's entry-level but I don't have a ton of money and it's my budget system for a little bump in the trunk. Still have more bass than 99% of the other cars on the road :). Eventually (when I get a car worth more than a grand)...

    Audiopipe APSM-1500 help, seems quiet?

I set it at 80% of the HU's volume, 40.2v and it says for the RMS rating of my subs to have 40.0v, at 75% of my HU volume. I also used a -5dB track. Should I redo it at 75%?
