Clean sound is the goal moreso than spl, but spl is never a bad thing. The single is do-able in my middle seat area. If the two would outperform SQ of one, I may consider making a larger enclosure. Ideally, a complete stealth install is the goal, but I could fudge a little on that.

Last question-lol. 2 of the dcon 12 d4 getting 450 a piece vs: a single icon 12 d2 getting 450 per coil. Assuming optImal enclosure lol. Who wins that fight? Dollar-wise its almost a toss-up, so I have to ask.

Along the lines of your "small" enclosure listed for the 12, vs your "optimal" spec for the 10. For whatever reason I cant access the page on the SSA site on my phone, it will show optimal sizes but the link to enclosure specs(which I assume contain port size/length) are inaccessible.

@hispl-funny u mention that. Put the first coat of paint on my shroud last night. Made the shroud to fit the Zeus but it also works on my other VI amps. Used a scythe 5.7 inch fan, its dead quiet. If I could post pics from my phone Id do so. Kinda proud of it.

Denim-thanks for that. What do you personally think about an optimal ported 10 vs a smallish 12 ported, all else being equal?

Its time for a new sub, and the SSA Icon looks really nice. Im undecided on 10/12 yet, as the enclosure must be 100% stealth. A few questions though. First-How well will it do on 900rms? Coming from an old Zeus in stereo, running a D2 sub@450/coil? Amp definitely puts out a little more, but...
