OP here. It is the sub pictured; it has the amp incorporated. Yes they are only made by Crutchfield. However I did buy mine used. I called Crutchfield tech support - best they could give me was "see if you can get it warrantied." It is hooked up to get level-line output from the head unit. How...

I just put in a Sound Ordnance BP8T. It turns on. I cannot hear it when my speakers are on, because it is so quiet. I turned off my speakers and could just barely hear bass coming out of the sub. I have toyed with all of the knobs. Yes the power and gnd are 8AWG. Any ideas?
