I'm looking to purchase what are considered to be the most powerful speakers that are around, only I have a spending limit of around $250, so maybe the most powerful won't be my option but for the money, what is out there?

What are the most powerful 5x7 / 6x8 speakers that are on the market right now? And what amp would efficiently power these? I'm putting in 2 15" Alpine Type Rs into my 98 Expedition and don't want to stick with my JBL OEMS! Please help me!!

I am putting 2 15" Type Rs, powered by two PDX-1000 in a 98 expedition, with a 9886 HU. The Expedition has the stock premium audio system with the JBL OEM 5x7/6x8 speakers. What speakers would you recommend to make this sound very nice? And what amp would you recommend to go with them?

I have 2 15"Alpine Type R's and am very short on cash. All that is left of my old system is my 2 6x5 and 2 6x9 Alpine type S speakers and I want this new system to have good sound quality, as well as the bass. Would maybe externally boxing the 6x9's and putting a kick panel in for the 6x5s be a...

The Alpine cda series are too pricey, i'm looking for a generally cheaper, but still very efficient and well working HU. Please help me out! It needs to have 3 preouts!! My budget is less that $200

What are some other HUs with 3 preouts that would be a little more cheaper than the cda-9886? Or.. Where could I get some good shopping on the 9886, cheaper than $300:D
