i got a sub relplaced from rockford(sucks) to an alpine (swr-1042d) this is powered by a MTX 250 thunder. i have a 93 wrangler and 4'6 up front and 6/9s in the back it is loader then i wanted but sounds great! i wanted to know if i got ripped off. the sub cost $190 and the amp cost $50 box...

i think you should try for the 3-way in a bed room first. once you get the hang of it and get to know the girls then switch to the car. thats just my opion :boobies:

the sub is rattling it self

THIS IS MY SET UP 1 10in RF T110D4 hooked up to a mono MTX thunder 250(251D) My KENWOOD 6/9s are on either side of the sub set 5-6in behind the sub each 6/9s and sub have seperate boxs this is all in the back of a 93 jeep wrangler THIS IS MY PROBLEM ever once in a while the sub rattles...

wow you know what i just got Pioneer 8600MP headunit,Cadence Q3000 and Viper 1200.1 along with the amp rack, and 2 12 inch visoniks in a sealed box. that is wild huh??
