    Amplifier not working

That I understand. I was just simply stating from my untrained eye nothing seemd damaged externally or loose. But as I have already stated I have never worked with amps before and my opinion is null. But I would like to replace the cap myself if I can, how should I go about doing so.

    Amplifier not working

I see nothing else that appears damaged or loose. My unle is an electrician he may be able to inspect it. If possible though I would like to repair the cap myself, how would I go about doing it.

    Amplifier not working

My subwoofer is not playing whatsoever. The amplifier light shows that the amp is being turned on, but I do not hear the the amp itself switch on like I usually do. Also, there is something rolling around inside of the amplifier itself. In cases where the sub is not playing I would usually say...

Before I even start to plan.

I did the measurements today. If i mount it correctly the spiders should just clear and the magnet should be able to go into the lower part of the well. I'll plan to make a test box throughout the week and see exactly what I'm dealing with.

Before I even start to plan.

I think the box I will be looking at building is likely a 3 cube or so box with the sub mounted on one side and more than likely a single 4" aeroport on the other. I will make the box as tall as possible so that I will be able to mount the woofer. If it wasn't already so dark I would be...

Before I even start to plan.

It's a 96, and I have never worked with fiberglassing before. I don't know if a 15" sub will be able to be mounted in the middle of the well. The clearance in the middle is shortened because of the hatch latch.

Before I even start to plan.

Do you believe that I will be able to make the box to spec and have the mounting depth required. I'm worried about mounting depth because I had problems with it when I built the box for my Q. The mounting depth for the 15" BTL is 8.75". If this project gets off the ground I will more than...

Before I even start to plan.

I want to upgrade the system in my camaro from a 12" FI Q to a 15" FI BTL. I want to know if anyone has done this or if its even possible. I want to put the box in the hatch well, the box will be ported. Before I even begin to plan I would like some input as to weather it is possible. I of...

    Need some help with electrical.

Hello everyone, I recently purchased a 2004 Ford Explorer and plan to put 2x fully loaded 15" FI BTL's. I have already done the Big 3 in 0 ga wiring, I ordered a 250A alt. I plan to put approximately 5000w rms between the two subs. My questions is related to the type and amount of batteries...

    Electrical Upgrade

I am in the process of making a rather big upgrade from my last system, which consisted of 2 Xplod 12s in a truck box running 300w rms total. I will be running one 12" FI Q on 1500wrms at 1ohm from a US Amps XT4000D. This will be in a approx 3 ft^3 ported box at around 34-36hz. To get the most...
