Back at step one... Does anyone know what the Equalizer is like on the Nakamichi CD-300s?

We've been over this, but I don't know where to buy them. Also what are the specs of nakamichis? Do they have an eq?

And this one will definately work?

Where can you buy them? I can't find any online stores.

Haven't used anything yet, but I've been told by a crutchfield salesman. Couldn't find any aftermarket kits for my car.

Sounds good, and If I had the option I'd get it, but it seems now that's not an option due to my car not accepting it.

So I was sadly informed that when I install a after market stereo, it's in a small recess in my dash... Therefor I can't have any sort of fold down, or motorized face plates on my unit... I want quality with my stereo and am Willing to pay around $300 to $400, but as far as I can tell...

They both do the far drop? So they changed them after the 5405-8455 series? Edit: Okay, so it turns out that my car can't fit anything where the face moves, because the reciever is in a slow that goes pretty far in, and it won't be able to open. II'm going to make a new thread, so this one...

Isn't it the CD7000 that does the drop down like that? I thought the CD5000 just tilted a bit, like the old 5405-5435s. Also I can't get an alpine, my car won't fit fold down units.

I kind of like the CD5000s looks. Is the CD7000 a really nice upgrade? Been reading up on the two models, and I think I like the 5000 better. $50 cheaper is great too. Unless someone can convince me by sunday, I'm going to order the 5000.

I got a sub from a friend, and it has tears in the foam surronding the cone. Is there a way to fix this? it's a JL 12W3v2, the attached photo shows the area, and size of the tears.
