I'm liking the IDQ's. Work on a budget, and seem to be a popular SQ or "light" SPL sub. I notice they have a 2 and 4 ohm version. Which should I go for, and how does that change things?

Gotcha. I don't know how much power to run to the Germs. All I am going by is the ratings, which people tell me not to go by! So what's the best way to go there?

That's even better. Someone told me to get some coaxials for fill, but none at all is much more cost effective. :P That said, maybe the aformentioned amp is more than I need.

I have some Rainbow Germs that I'll be installing in the front doors in the near future. Currently looking at that MB Quart DSC4125 to power them, though I'm of course open for other recommendations. Deck is a Kenwood KDC-X993. I have no idea what to do with the rear speakers yet!

I'm throwing it in the trunk of my 1999 Maxima SE. No idea on power yet, I haven't even asked about amps for subs. As far as SQ/SPL, I mean, I want to feel it, but I just want my songs to rock out without the sub overpowering the rest of the music. I'm not trying to win any competitions...

I still need an amp for it as well, so nothing much to go on. Just getting recommendations as I go since I'm a noob at all this.

I changed my mind, I think I'm going to go with a single decent 12" sub instead of the two tens. I want a quality sub that can be had at a great price. I prefer SQ to SPL! Thanks again!

Well, I don't know a whole ton about this stuff, but take a gander at the MB Quart DSC4125. Can be had online for $190 or less.

Kinda liking this choice, as it would allow me to throw some cheaper speakers in the rear. Though, not sure if I want that or not yet.

Curious what you all recommend for great SQ in bang for the buck 10" subwoofers. I'd like to get two and put them in my trunk to save space over a single 12", since they'll fit nicely over in the corners. Thanks all!

I agree it's a great buy, but I need more wattage as my speakers are 100 rms @ 4 ohms.

I'm confused by this amp. Says it's 200 watts, but only does 85 x 2 @ 4 ohms?

For the power question, I'm going to run 100 watt rms, 150 peak components with it!
