I have decided to go with the Mags and will now have to buy a new alt as well. Now I am looking to give them about 900w each, but being somewhat new to car audio, I am confused about getting amping these subs. Do I look for an amp that would put out 1800 x 1 @ 1 ohm? or does it have to be at 2...

My only concern with the Mag is will it get VERY loud. I have heard all about its excellent SQ, but what wondering if it has the SPL that i need to go with it.

I am leaning heavily towards either 2 HD 12's or 2 Mag 12's which most likely means a new HO alt. Anyone have any other suggestions besides these 2?
