ok, ive fitted the new wire, but no power on the head unit, all the other wires and fuses are intact, anyone got any idea what else could be the problem? Thanks wjt

I assume being its the standard wiring in there atm it goes through the fuse box, which is why i can't understand why it didnt blow the fuse, gonna work on it this weekend so we shall see what happens

I can't understand why it didnt blow the fuse in the first place, and i can't understand why its done it, its only that one wire thats singed as well, maybe it just touched something and shorted, there has been some bodge job behind there with the previous owner, i will just make sure everything...
