I just wiped off the outside and used compressed air (not to much obviously). The inside was clean but I couldn't see where to pull the rubber piece where the contact is off. Or are you talking about the where it makes its connection from faceplate to unit?

I'm just upgrading a little on my Yukon XL and I'm going to try and find a good quality 8" shallow mount sub to replace the factory sub. Oh, and something that won't break the bank. Just to give a little cleaner bass. Doesn't sound bad now but I think a good quality replacement will help it...

Got it! Got the onstar module harness dealio on and everything works perfectly!

I hit the left 2 buttons out of the 3 but I didn't hear anything. I guess I could hit the red cross button on the far right since I don't have a subscription.

Talked to Crutchfield today and it's expected on 2/16/09 but that could change. They've been getting alot of response to it. I'm also for it if it performs like it's supposed to. It's hidden in the dash, no extra wires to run, simple.
