    i have a 1999 sonoma and got 2 dash speakers that rms at 100 watts each and 2 rear speakers that rms at 200 watts each, would i be safe if i just got a 2 channel amp that rms at 300 watts at both channels and then just wire the dash speakers to 1 channel and the rear speakers to the other...

    confused on the new speakers i just got.....

    i bought a a pair of the Boss CH4620 4" x 6" speakers and a pair of the Boss CH4330 4" x 10" speakers for my truck and on the website i bought them from both of them said "Peak:400 watts per pair/200 watts each; RMS:200 watts per pair/100 watts each" as did all the other websites ive checked but...

    when looking at the watts of a sub, is the RMS or Max watts more accurate to the subs power?

    i was planning on it so there isnt any drop in volts, i just wasnt sure if i should just get a whole seperate battery for the system

    1 is SoundStorm (SSL) STA135 (3500W Max Stealth Series Class D Monoblock) for the subs and the other is Sound Storm SSL F4.1200 (1200W Max, Force Series 4-Channel) for the speakers

    i have a truck and i wanna put in 2 12" inch subs that RMS at 1200 watts and are dual 4 ohm. im also putting in all new speakers: the speakers in the back rms at 150 watts each and are 4 ohm, the door speakers rms at 35 watts each and are also 4 ohms, and the dash speakers rms at 125 watts each...
