This is a bad *** amp. Well built and built to last. I ran one daily at 2 ohms stereo for 2 years (when the amp was 13-15 years old) and it never gave me a single issue. I sold mine earlier this year and I immediately regretted doing so.

I was considering selling/trading it for a smaller class D. I'll be running a Fi SSD 18 (I think lol) so 1000 rms would be fine and shouldn't draw more than 80-90 amps. Like I said I ran a Punch 800a2 with no problems.

I'd rather not do the big 3 because the battery is in the trunk and I don't want to attempt it myself or pay someone to do it. And what's an agm?

After googling images for RE sx18 I see the baskets are similar but the magnets differ. I've seen plenty of pics of Fi SSDs and BLs with the same double stacked magnets as mine has.

I purchased this Fi 18 from eBay for a good deal. Only problem was the seller (a pawn shop) didn't have much info on it. I've posted this question on the Fi forum at SSA and got a few different responses. I think the only one I got more than once was it's an SSD model. Anyone here able to help?
