hey mike, good start on a basic system hehe. I'd recommend a jbl 600.1 to power an SE sub or the 1200.1 for the HC if you have the money. Maybe check That's just my opinion tho. I'm sure there are others. Heh I can't decide myself yet and am still searching for a good sub amp for myself LOL...

I read somewhere that RE SE subs perform just as good as RE HC subs if you are pumping in less than 1000 watts of power into each. Anyone know if this is true or not? If it is I'll prolly just end up getting the SE version from RE and just save the cash since I don't think i can afford an amp...

Hey guys. New poster here. I am thinking of getting that deal on the RE HC's (if still available) and splitting it with my friend so we both have one 12" each. I am also thinking of finally getting a 4 channel amp under 200 bucks for my components and 6x9's and getting a mono or 2 channel amp...
