I'll be building the whole box so its not really a matter of extra work. But you pretty much answered my question, though a second opinion can never hurt.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I called crunch tech this morning and he was able to help me adjust settings on the amplifier. Now I just have to build that box though Does anyone know if you need a divider wall for a double box? (like a wall between the two chambers .. one for each sub?)

I don't think so, I bet if I tested the RCA cable itself it would be fine, and I don't think there is anything wrong with the RCA plugs on the head unit, everything is pretty new and looks fine.

The is sub is on 0db and is set to sub out on the head unit though, to my knowledge.
