The garmin is sold to makdaddy. The 8500 vs the x50, mainly just tuning. They tried to improve the range, etc. The 8500 has saved me numerous of times.

Unless you can stick $250. in paypal in my account in the next few minutes. The radar isn't the x50. Its just an earlier model of the x50. It still outperforms all these lower brands, such as cobra, whistler or anything like that. Its a higher end radar. Buy it now, and I'll take off another $10.
