My current car (and my first car), an 89 Grand Am. Its got a lot of rust on the lower trim and around the rear wheels. It is also a member of the 200,000 mile club with almost 217,000 miles on it. Although it is shitty, it has never failed me. its a good car, yet its a crappy car.

why not just build a box and put it where the seats are? that way you have a box, the subs will sound a lot nicer and your trunk wont rattle like crazy... it would look nicer too

I used wood glue to make it stick, then nailed it to hold it, then caulked the inside cracks. Also the edges of my box are all groved so it is air tight.

You can buy 4 or 5 speaker setups that have subwoofers with them. You can get them pretty cheap at Best Buy or online someplace. One of my friends has a 5 speaker system with an 8" subwoofer under his desk. That thing screams. I think its a lot easier to do that then to mess with hooking up...

Well, increasing the volume will make the bass lower and deeper. I don't know if it would be worth paying $130 for a custom box though. Although the custom box would be a lot stronger. I say just make your own box. If you don't have the tools to do it, ask around, I'm sure somebody would let...

IMO even if it isn't a good woofer you still got a deal. You can blow that sucker apart and have as much fun with it as you want and only be out $18. I'm not sure if its a good sub or not though, but if it sucks... kill it!

well, the L7's can handle more power, and they probably will hit the tighter bass. I know for sure, that if they are powered right, and in the right box, they will be louder. I don't know if they are worth the extra cash though. go listen to some at your local dealer if you have one. thats...

yea, im running Comps also in a sealed enclosure. They sound extreamly nice and do go low. They pound very good for the money.

it says the 15" has a 400 oz. magnet! Thats crazy.
