Hello, I have been trying to model the SSA Demon 10" subwoofer in a 1.1 cu ft ported box @ 33 hz. The shape looks very weird, like it has 1 shallow roll off and then another steeper roll off. Not sure if I put some wrong parameters. Can someone model this for me please? Thank you!

it was my 1st box I built, using db dynamic calculator.  Built exactly like what the calculator told me, so I'm no box builder.  My cuts were super uneven and had huge gaps that i filled with wood glue.  It was a really rough looking box but somehow it came out knockin! 

Do it... this box bangs...  I had this same exact set up and its a straight sleeper. This was in an 05 accord with stock electricals and big 3.  My box was at 38hz or something with the SD matching the 2 subs, just rounded up to the next whole digit.  Was impressive to me at least...

Thanks A lot! If I were to build this box with the slot to the side and used this for 2 15's. Would the subwoofer closest to the port possibly load differently than the other? Or would The side slot configuration work?

So I came up with this for 2 15's. If I wanted to make this a center slot port, could I simply just move the port over? Most port calculations for 8 inches wide and 15.5 inches high give me a length in the 20's. My question is that since my box is about 30 inches, would it be correct if I...

I just checked.. it says remote. I think this is a gain remote? Would the remote refer to a gain knob? Seems to act like the gain. I think I got it confused with a bass boost frequency knob because I saw the bass boost frequency and bass boost level, which is on 0 db.

It was on the amplifier, from 30-80 so something has to be boosted? If I unplugged the bass boost control, would the bass boosted frequency dial even matter where it is adjusted to? I liked the bass boost control upfront because some songs don't have enough bass, and some songs have too much...

Oh I do use the LPF. I guess I just had to play with where the bass boost frequency was, the weird sounds are now gone. I guess it was boosted in the mid-bass range. I can't exactly tell with the analog dial where it's boosted exactly, I turned it lower and it went away.

Can someone who really knows this topic go over the big 3 with me? Now looking at all the sites, some sources say the big 3 are alt/batt, neg/ chassis ground, and engine ground/chassis ground, and I see other places saying that it should be alt/batt, neg/chassis ground, and alt ground/neg. I...
